About Structures Unlimited, Inc.
Structures Unlimited, Inc. is a wholly owned corporation formed in November of 1991. Prior to forming, the owners had been in the construction business for approximately 9 years including 1.5 years consolidating with another local construction company to help rebuild Limon after the June 6, 1990 tornado.
We manage projects from residential to commercial construction as a subcontractor as well as a general contractor erecting metal buildings, grain storage facilities, pouring concrete foundations and floors, installing water/sewer lines, water treatment systems, excavation and dirt work, wood frame construction and finish work.
Structures Unlimited, Inc. has been an authorized Behlen dealer since 1983 erecting both Behlen Steel Buildings and Behlen Grain Bins. We are also an authorized Sukup Grain Bin dealer as well. Just recently we have become an authorized Lester Buildings dealer. We have been a member of the Steel Erectors Safety Association of Colorado since 1993 and are listed as a qualified contractor to bid directly with the State of Colorado for all classes of construction. We are also proud to say that we have been awarded the Circle of Safety Award presented by Pinnacol Assurance for 2010 and 2011.
Wind Farm Experience
We have constructed 9 Operations and Maintenance Buildings for Wind Farms. The first was a 6250 sq.ft. building in 2011 at the Cedar Point Wind Farm in Lincoln County, Colorado with RES Americas being the general contractor and Embridge as the owners. The second, third, and fourth buildings were for Limon Wind with Blattner Energy being the general contractors and NextEra as the owners. Limon 1 and 2 have a building that is 7500 sq.ft and a carport of 7000 sq.ft, Limon 3 has a 1500 sq.ft. building. The fifth building was 5000 sq.ft. in 2013 at the Buffalo Dune Wind Farm located in Ulysses, Kansas with RES Americas being the general contractors and Enel Green Power as the owners. The sixth building was 5000 sq.ft. at the Golden West Wind Project located in Calhan, Colorado with Blattner Energy being the general contractors and NextEra as the owner. The seventh and eighth buildings in 2018 for Rush Creek with Mortenson being the general contractors and Xcel Energy as the owner. Rush Creek 1 has an 8000 sq.ft. building located in Matheson, Colorado. Rush Creek 2 has a 6400 sq.ft. building located in Hugo, Colorado. The ninth building is 5000 sq.ft. located South of Seibert, Colorado. It was built in 2021 for EDP Renewables, North America, LLC for the Crossing Trails Wind Power Project.

In 2019 we were the General Contractor for Wausau Supply Company in building their 60000 sq.ft. distribution warehouse here in our hometown, Limon, Colorado.
We perform all types of building, excavation, equipment and crane services across the state of Colorado, Western Kansas and Western Nebraska. We provide the necessary equipment as well as experienced operators. We have a 30 ton, 70 ton, 80 ton, 165 ton, and 275 ton cranes, man lifts, shooting booms, loaders, backhoes, skid steers, forklifts, trenchers, maintainer, trucks and trailers. Our crane operators are NCCCO certified and are experienced in grain elevator operations, oil field operations, railroad operations, setting Manufactured Homes, wind field operations, water treatment plant operations and all types of general constructions operations.
